Reactions As Peter Obi Wins Majority Of Abia State Votes Ahead Of Atiku, Tinubu

The elections so far has been tense between Peter Obi, Atiku and Tinubu so far. The result for the presidential election held in Abia state was announced and it was realised that the candidate for Labour Party, Peter Obi defeated Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar to emerge victorious. According to Channels TV, Peter Obi emerged with 327,095 votes while Atiku came second with 22,676 votes. Ahmed Bola Tinubu came third with 8914 votes.

Channels TV posted this update on their Twitter page with the caption, "Abia: 2023 Presidential election (state results)"

Nigerians had mixed reactions concerning this results. While some claimed those were not the exact numbers, others congratulated Peter Obi on his victory.
