The Catholic priest, Reverend Father Kelvin Ugwu has taken to his verified Facebook handle to question the Nigerian government and the Nigeria Police Force who had reportedly promised to apprehend all those involved in the death of one late Deborah Samuel.
Recall, late Deborah Samuel was brutally murdered and burnt in Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto State over an alleged blasphemous statement against Prophet Muhammad on May 12, 2022. Her death caused a lot of tension in the country as many made reference to what the Nigerian Constitution says about such cases. Recall also that the appropriate 'authorities' reportedly said her murderers will be arrested and made to face the Law.
In memory of Deborah Samuel's death, Rev. Fr. Kelvin Ugwu asked if her killers are invisible. In his words, he asked, "I am asking, where are her killers? Are her killers invisible? And to the Nigeria Police Force, have you arrested her killers?"
