Gov. Akeredolu: Owo Is Relatively Safe Place For Them, We Have To Support Them With Armed People

Following the recent attack in Ondo State, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu visited the area where the attack was carried out to confirm the incident. It was reported that some unknown gunmen attacked the Craneburg Construction Company, at Folahanmi Junction, Owo, leaving two people injured. Many people in the state were afraid because of the previous attack that claimed the lives of some Christian worshippers

Governor Akeredolu made a statement at the scene, Craneburg Construction Company, as he tried to wipe away fear from the people's minds. He said that the bandits intend to destroy some of the company equipment and not to kill anyone. Adding that nobody was killed and the two men that were injured were security guards that were outside the premises of the company.

He reveals that the explosive device of the bandits affected the tires and the windscreen of another vehicle, while the 50 vehicles of the company were not affected. While he speaks to the contractors he said Owo is relatively safe for them and maybe they will have to support them with armed people to protect all their equipment and vehicles. He added that the contractors are useful to them and they are ready to provide all necessary protection for them.
