Recently, the Zamfara state governor, Bello Matawalle, decried the regrettable killings of the Northerners living in the Southeastern part of the country. Following, the unprecedented attacks on police stations and incessant killings by suspected members of the IPOB and ESN in the southern part of the country, the governor have warned or rather advised the Southerners not to expect protection if killing of Northerners continues in the south.
In reaction to the warning, the leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, have replied the governor through his alleged twitter handle. The IPOB leader, who has gradually turned the IPOB and Eastern Security Network (ESN) into something dreadful maintained that their agitations for the sovereign state of Biafra should be considered.
In his view, Nnamdi Kanu believes that the best reply to the advise is for the Southerners to work for the dissolution of the country. It is still surprising and disturbing how a reasonable person could advocate for the dissolution of such united country instead of considering restructuring.
Do you think Kanu gave a wise reply?
