The teams' mission is to discourage vote trading and other financial malpractices that could jeopardize the integrity of the elections.

In a message to the teams before the Presidential and National Assembly elections on February 25, the Executive Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa, charged them with acting with integrity and professionalism.

"You are on a national assignment, and I expect you to conduct yourself responsibly in accordance with our core values of professionalism, integrity, and courage," Bawa said. You have a responsibility to ensure that this election is free of financial sabotage, particularly voter bribery. "The world's attention is focused on Nigeria, and we must do everything possible to ensure credible, free, and fair elections," he said.
