Ronald Araujo was in the starting lineup for Barcelona again today when they hosted Granada at the Camp Nou Stadium on Monday evening. The Uruguayan International displayed a brilliant performance for Barcelona today as they led them to a 1-1 draw against Granada even if the result wasn't convincing.
Granada had a brilliant start to the game as they went ahead in the 2nd minute through a close-range headed goal from Domingos Duarte. The Away side held their lead to the halftime break as they prevented Barcelona from scoring in the remaining minutes of the first half.
Barcelona got the important equaliser in the 90th minute of the match as Ronald Araujo came through with a brilliant header to cancel Granada's chance of winning the game. Both sides eventually settled for a disappointing 1-1 draw at full-time.
Ronald Araujo was arguably the best player in today's match as he displayed a remarkable performance for the Catalans despite their disappointing draw. The 22-year-old deserves the man of the match award as his performance today was spot on and incredible.
