Nothing Like Broom Or Labour Party, Everything Ended On The 25th Of Feb. - Wike Tells Supporters

Following the March 11th governorship and House House of Assembly elections, the governor of River's state, Nyesom Wike has urged all his supporters and followers in the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to vote for the party in the governorship election. He said that all relationships and integrity with the All Progressive Congress (APC) ended with the February 25 presidential and National Assembly elections.

Nyesom Wike urged the people of Rivers States to close their eyes and cast their votes for the party not minding what other parties will tell them. Saying that everything they should press during the governorship election should be the umbrella only. He added that there is no relationship with anybody or party again and the only relationship they have now is the umbrella, which signifies the party.

Governor Wike who made the statement while inaugurating the Ibadan airport aviation fuel dispensing facility and storage depot, said that nothing like a broom or the Labour Party because everything ended last Saturday at the presidential election. Saying that what will reign now in the state is the umbrella.

“On the 11th of March, close your eyes, don’t ask, everything you press must be the umbrella. There is no relationship with anybody again. The only relationship we have on the 11th of March is the umbrella. Don’t hear any grammar again. The only grammar you can hear now is the umbrella, nothing like a broom. Broom ended last Saturday. Labor ended last Saturday. What will reign now is an umbrella.”
