LIVERPOOL PLAYER NOW SET TO LEAVE ON A FREE, LEEDS WANTED HIM LAST SUMMER
Yasser Larouci is set to leave Liverpool on a free, just months after he was strongly linked with a move to Leeds United, the Athletic report.
Larouci has struggled for game time at Liverpool this season, with the youngster only playing in the under-23’s.
With the left-back’s contract expiring, he has opted not to pen a new deal, meaning he appears to be getting ready to depart Anfield.
Leeds had previously been linked with him, but the Athletic report that they walked away because any transfer was too expensive.
The Whites are now thought to be looking at more experienced left-backs, although whether they could rekindle their interest in Larouci, as he is available for free, remains to be seen.

Elneny eyeing new contract at Arsenal after earning second chance under Arteta
The Egyptian midfielder spent the 2019-20 season on loan at Besiktas but has been welcomed back into the Gunners fold by a Spanish tactician.
Mohamed Elneny is looking to complete a remarkable turnaround at Arsenal by landing himself a contract extension.
The Egyptian midfielder appeared destined to be heading for the exits when Unai Emery sent him out on loan to Besiktas at the start of the 2019-20 campaign, with alternative options being favoured in north London.
Another Spanish coach, Mikel Arteta, has found room for the 28-year-old within his plans, though, and it could be that fresh terms are now thrashed out at Emirates Stadium.
Elneny has said in the Evening Standard: “Of course, for me I am always loyal to Arsenal. “And if Arsenal say to me: ‘Sign a new contract’, of course I would be happy to do this.”

Ferdinand bites back after false Kane to Man Utd claim
Rio Ferdinand has quickly moved to dismiss false claims that he thinks Harry Kane is past his sell-by date.
Jamie O’Hara, in discussion with Alan Brazil and Ally McCoist on talkSPORT, said he was “surprised” that Ferdinand didn’t think Manchester United should move for Kane this summer.
United, along with Manchester City and Chelsea, have been linked with moves for top strikers from across Europe including Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappe and Harry Kane.
And O’Hara believes Kane still has “five years of greatness” in him and would be “right at the top of your list” as a club on the lookout for a world class centre-forward.
“I think he’s still worthy of a big move, I really do,” O’Hara said.
“I’m surprised because I know Rio is a big advocate for top players and especially English ones. But if you’re looking at Man City or Man United who will be looking for No.9s in the summer Harry Kane has to be right at the top of your list.
“You for Haaland, you go for Mbappe and if you can’t get them two, you go for Harry Kane.
“There isn’t really anyone better than them three as complete centre-forwards. Alright he’s had his injury problems, he’s 27, but he’s still unbelievable, he’s doing it week in week out in the Premier League.

Barcelona Prepared To Offer Antoine Griezmann In Exchange For Paulo Dybala
Barcelona are reportedly ready to offer Antoine Griezmann in a player exchange deal to try and snare away Paulo Dybala from Juventus in the summer.
According to a report from Italian publication Calciomercato, Barcelona are considering offering French superstar Antoine Griezmann to Juventus in a player-swap deal that would see Paulo Dybala land at Camp Nou.
And it seems situation at Juventus has led to a lot of speculations over the past couple of weeks. The 27-year-old, who has been with the Bianconeri since the summer of 2015, has struggled to make an impact under new manager Andrea Pirlo this term, managing a paltry return of three goals and two assists from 16 games.
Add to it, the Argentine international has been struck down with an injury since January. With his contract set to expire in a little over a year, negotiations have been frozen owing to the player’s current plight. This has resulted in rumours that Juventus may well cash in on Dybala this summer, piquing the interest of Chelsea and Tottenham.

Chelsea set to sign Sergio Aguero In the summer
Sergio Aguero could be on his way out of Manchester City this summer as his deal is up in the coming months and the Daily Mail say Chelsea have the 32-year-old on his radar.
Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are also keen on Aguero who may be available on a free transfer at the end of the season as he’s not close to putting pen to paper on a contract extension.
The Daily Mail note that this season has been a ‘disappointment’ for Aguero as he’s spent most of the campaign on the sidelines and has hardly featured since returning to fitness. The Argentine international has made 14 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring three goals (Transfermarkt).
Aguero has scored 257 goals and made 73 assists in 384 games in his 10 years at City, so it’s easy to see why Chelsea, Barca and PSG are interested, but the striker would prefer to stay at the Etihad Stadium. He’s believed to have a new deal on the table too, so there is a chance he might extend his contract.
That being said, a decision on Aguero’s future isn’t likely to be made until the campaign comes to a close.
