Bola Tinubu, who has been elected as the President, has responded to critics on social media who have questioned his refusal to refund the cost of the flyovers he built in Rivers State. 
Tinubu clarified that he has no signature for expenditure until he is sworn in as the President, and therefore, he cannot make any commitment. He emphasized that there can only be one president, and until he assumes office, he cannot sign anything.
During a banquet held in his honor, Tinubu addressed the controversy that has arisen on social media regarding his interaction with Governor Wike. He stated that he does not respond to criticism on social media and that he has been called every name in the book. Despite this, he believes in fulfilling promises and thanked his supporters for their backing during the presidential election.
Tinubu has made it clear that he cannot sign anything until he is sworn in as the President and that there can only be one President at a time. He also reiterated his stance of not responding to criticism on social media and thanked his supporters for their loyalty.
