Tinubu have been announced the president elect, but his colleagues from other parties are not in support of his victory. They took the issue to court and demanded that the BVAS machines should be scrutinized because they believe they won the presidential mandate, and not Tinubu.

According to the news that was shared by Vanguard on Twitter, it seems the court has decided to scrutinize the BVAS machines and they have fixed a date. The court of appeal has slated Wednesday to consider the merit of the application of INEC. Also the court filed to be allowed to reconfigure the BVAS machines that were used for the presidential election.

According to Dr Onyechi Ikpeazu, SAN, he said that the essence of the application was to enable them to extract data embedded in the BVAS, which represent the actual results from polling units. However, INEC are urging the court to refuse the application because it will affect the forthcoming election process.
