5 Nigerian Governors That May Become Presidents In Few Years Time.

The number citizen in Nigeria, is always regarded as the president of the country and handed the power to make critical decisions that may lift the country or crumble the country. In most cases, these decisions making process is usually done with the help of the national assembly which is headed by the senate president.

The joy of every politician is to be trusted by his people and also elected into higher offices after he must have delivered marvelously in his previous office. In this article, I will be enumerating 5 politicians that may run for the seat of the president of the federal republic of Nigeria in few Years to come;

1.Governor Nyesom Wike:

Nyesom Wike is an Ikwerre man from Rivers state, in Southern Nigeria. He is the current governor of Rivers state and strong member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP). Nyesom Wike is a graduate from Rivers State University (RSU). The distinguished governor, studied law during his stay in the prestigious university.

Wike was appointed Minister of State for Education on 14 July 2011. Wike was later appointed the Acting Minister of Education, after Mrs Ruqqayatu was sacked but resigned before finishing his term to campaign for Governor of Rivers state. He was replaced by Viola Onwuliri. In 2014, he won the Rivers state People's Democratic Party primary and chose former Secretary to the State Government Ipalibo Banigo as his running mate for deputy governor.

Wike defeated Dakuku Peterside of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and Tonye Princewill of the Labour Party in the April 11 gubernatorial elections to emerge as governor. During his second term as a governor, he kicked-off the construction of three (3) major flyovers simultaneously in Port Harcourt. The location of the flyovers are at Garrison, Rumoukoro and Artillery.

2.Governor Lawrence Ifeanyi:

Lawrence Ifeanyi is an Igbo man from Enugu state, in Eastern Nigeria. He is the current governor of Enugu state and also a strong member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP). He was a member of the House of Representatives of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, for 12 years. He is a graduate of University of Nsukka and holds both bachelor's and master's degree from the same university. The governor is happily married to Monica Ugwuanyi.

3.Governor Seyi Makinde:

Seyi Makinde is a Yoruba man from Oyo state, in Western Nigeria. He is the current governor of Oyo State and also a chieftain in the People's Democratic Party (PDP). Seyi took over power from Ajimobi after eight years as governor of Oyo state. He is married to Tamunominini Makinde. He is a graduate of electrical engineering from the prestigious University Of Lagos.

4.Governor Ganduje:

Ganduje is a Hausa man from Kano state, in Northern Nigeria. He is the current governor of Kano state and strong member of the All Progressive Congress. He took over power as governor of Kano state after Kwankwaso.

5. Governor El-Rufai:

El-Rufai is no doubt another strong political personality in Nigeria politics. El-Rufai is the current governor of Kaduna state, in Northern Nigeria and also a strong member of the All Progressive Congress (APC). El-Rufai was once the minister of the FCT.
