5 Tips To Help You Get Pregnant Quickly

You and your partner may have spent years trying to avoid having a baby by having unprotected sex. However, if you have decided to become pregnant and start a family, waiting is the last thing you want to do. If you want to get pregnant quickly, there are a few things you should keep in mind to get the most out of the pregnancy process.

However, if you've been having unprotected sex for a year and haven't gotten pregnant you should see a doctor.

Here are tips that help you get pregnant faster

1 Make sure you're having sex on a regular basis.

You can have sex on a regular basis, but not every day because sperm can live for up to 5 days in the body. Maintain a sufficient time gap between sexual intercourse to allow sperm to accumulate. Having sex when you are most fertile will increase your chances of becoming pregnant. 

2 Withdraw birth control methods ahead of time.

Some hormonal birth control can impair your fertility, so to resume your regular menstrual periods stop using them. If you're using an intrauterine device (IUD), make sure it's removed by a medical professional so you can regain your fertility and if you are using a Depo-Provera you should cease taking the shots at least a year before trying to conceive to increase your chances of getting pregnant.

3 Avoid the use of vaginal lubricants

The use of vaginal lubricants can harm sperm and interfere with their migration to the uterus to fertilize the egg because the pH of lubricants is high enough to destroy sperm. Instead of using toxic lubricants, spend 15 to 20 minutes before having intercourse doing foreplay activities like gentle caressing, kissing, and cuddling and if foreplay fails, warm water can be used as a lubricant because water is not hazardous to sperm.

4 After the sexual intercourse is finished, don't jump out of bed right away. Take some time to relax and enjoy your time with your companion. After sex, you can even place a pillow under your hips or lift your legs for roughly 20 minutes to increase the chances of sperm entering the egg.

5 Yoga

Stress-relieving exercises like yoga or any other mind-body relaxation program might help you relax and boost your chances of conception.
