On Saturday, Manchester United welcomes Aston Villa to Old Trafford in a bid to stay up with the rest of the Premier League championship contenders.


This season, Manchester United has displayed a lot more cohesion. Cristiano Ronaldo, Raphael Varane, and Jadon Sancho have all arrived at the same time as Solskjaer's team has progressed.

Manchester United have made a good start to the new season. After the first five gameweeks, they have 13 points out of a potential 15. It's a significant improvement over their 2020-21 campaign, when they had only seven points after five games.

Marcus Rashford and Amad Diallo are still out due to injury. Although Edinson Cavani is close to returning, Saturday's game may be too soon for them. Phil Jones has returned to the mix and may be a bench player. Dean Henderson has returned from injury, but David de Gea is expected to maintain his starting spot.


Marcus Rashford and Amad Diallo are both injured. Edison Cavani is doubtful. No one is suspended for this game.


Aston Villa


Leon Bailey suffered an injury in Aston Villa's 3-0 win against Everton and is a doubt for this match. Due to an injury, Keinan Davies is unable to play. Morgan Sanson suffered a hamstring injury against Chelsea in the League Cup and will miss this match.


Due to the concussion protocol, John McGinn may not be cleared to participate. After suffering an adductor injury, Matt Targett is also questionable. Axel Tuanzebe is not permitted to play for a team that is not his parent club.


Keinan Davies and Morgan Sanson are both injured. Leon Bailey, John McGinn, and Matt Targett are all doubtful. There are no suspensions
