Buhari, Expect Knocks On Your Door—Tinubu
The President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has told ongoing President Muhammadu Buhari to expect knocks on his door, whether he relocates to his home town in Daura, Katsina state or Niger Republic.

Tinubu stated this while delivering a speach at the Investiture Ceremony in Abuja on Thursday.
He said, “Expect knocks on your door whether you go to Daura or Niger Republic or wherever.”
Tinubu’s remark comes as President Buhari conferred the National Honour of Grand Commander of the Order of Federal Republic, (GCFR) on the incoming President of Nigeria.

The President-elect Bola Tinubu, on Thursday, in Abuja, said he will not disappoint the trust conferred upon him by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), and millions of Nigerians.

Tinubu made the promise in his acceptance speech after he was conferred with the National Honour of Grand Commander of the Federal Republic at the State House Banquet Hall, Abuja.

President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extolled President Muhammadu Buhari for deeming it fit during his administration to honour Chief M.K.O Abiola in recognition of the June 12, 1993 elections.

According to Tinubu, the act was a show of courage from Buhari to set the records straight and heal festering wounds.
The incoming president reflected on this during his speech following his conferment with the honour of the Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (GCFR).
He described Buhari’s decision to honour Abiola as one marked by bravery which many, in times past, avoided.
DSS blows hot over plot to disrupt Bola Tinubu's inauguration
Nigeria’s secret police, the Department of State Services, DSS, said there are plans by subversive elements to disrupt inauguration of President-Elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governors-elect across Nigeria on May 29.

The agency, however, issued a strong warning to those behind the evil plans.
The DSS gave the warning in a statement issued by its spokesperson, Peter Afunaya on Thursday.
The Service also warned unaccredited persons to stay away from the event.
The agency also asked the citizens, the media and Civil Society Organisations to adhere strictly to security and civil protocols during the events.
