The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, General Muhammadu Buhari, in an interview with the executives of the AriseTv, said that, it is quite unfortunate that Boko Haram tends to hide under Islam to perpetrate their evil acts. In his response on the issue of the terrorist group, Buhari condemns their operation bitterly. "You can't kill people and be shouting Allah is great", Buhari added.
It is no longer news that the Boko Haram group with their evil agendas, has been a major threat to the government and also to every Nigerian. The terrorist group has recorded several attacks on innocent Nigerians in many parts of the country, particularly in Borno State. However, the incessant attacks and atrocities committed by Boko Haram, have claimed the lives of many Nigerians, both civilians and members of the Nigeria Army. Inclusively, many properties have been destroyed by this terrorist group.
It can be recalled that, during the 2015 presidential campaign, Buhari promised to strike down Boko Haram in his first three months of office. Although, despite all measures and efforts, the terrorist group is yet to be wiped out.
In an interview with the AriseTv today, the president wondered what could be the mission of this set of terrorists, he noted that, Boko Haram kills people, destroy properties, abduct children and yet, they are seen and heard shouting Allah is great even when everyone knows Allah condemned the killing of human being.
During the interview with the AriseTv, Buhari said "You can't kill people and be shouting Allah is great. It's either they don't know the meaning of what they're saying or they don't believe in what they're saying"
