The Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, defeated his opponents, the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party and the Presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party, in the just concluded Presidential elections. He has been announced as the President elect by the Independent And National Electoral commission (INEC).
However, reacting to the victory of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Dele Farotimi, a member of the Obi-Datti campaign spokesperson, released a statement via his twitter handle where he noted that the opposition thinks it's over, but they just got started. He however, stated that the Labour Party would eschew all forms of violence, but nobody is stealing their votes. He said;
“They think it’s over, but we just getting started. We shall eschew all forms of violence, but NOBODY is stealing our votes and undermining our very humanity. Lift up your heads soldiers! It’s the eve of battle, and our tasks are not done. Get ready! There’s a nation to birth”.
