T-shirts are a staple element in every man’s wardrobe, so it is understandable why you may not want to throw them away. However, once your shirts start to fade or lose their color, it is time to change them. Besides, most T-shirts have a life span of six months to a year.

3. Shoes

Once your shoes start slipping out or showing some tears in the heels or outsoles, you should change them as soon as possible.

4. Sweaters

Since you don’t wear your sweaters except in the particular season, they should last for at least three years before showing signs of tear. Another tear sign you should look out for is when the wool starts sprouting out.

5. Underwear

To maintain hygiene, you should change your undies once every six months or a year. Although your underwear can last up to 3 - 7 years depending on the brand, changing them once a year to avoid build-up of infections.
