Reactions has trailed an old report of 18th March, 2005 that Festus Keyamo, one of the spokespersons for the president-elect shared which contained how he defended Peter Obi that he must spend 4 years in office as Anambra state governor.
Festus Keyamo share the report in a tweet he recently made on his official Twitter account.
Recall that in 2003 when Anambra state governorship election was held between Chris Ngige and Peter Obi, Chris Ngige was declared winner of the election but Peter Obi who was not satisfied with the outcome approached the court.
In 2005 when he was later declared the winner of the election and was to spend the remaining 1 year left by Ngige's administration, Festus Keyamo claimed he lend his voice to say he must spend his 4 years complete.
Hear him.
"On March 18th, 2005, when the issue of the tenure of a governor who retrieves his mandate through the judicial process was not settled and when Peter Obi was to be robbed of his full tenure, I went all out to defend him and insisted he must spend his 4 years in office... We defend him based on our pure condition even when we never met him then..."
As expected, Reactions trail the tweet,
"ShehuDikko" wrote, "History will continue to bear witness SAN"
"Kingsnow1759" wrote, "You can as well post the one you went against Asiwaju, since we are doing a throw back..waiting!"
