Everyone who sees you will definitely notice your hands, and if your knuckles aren’t the same color as the other parts of your body, you really need to learn how to get rid of dark knuckles as soon as possible.
If your skin looks very perfect and your knuckles are completely dark, then there’s something absolutely wrong with your skin care routine. Dark knuckles are a big turn off for a lot of ladies, and I'm sure you've tried everything to get rid of them.
Dark knuckles usually occur when your skin produces a lot more melanin than necessary.
There’s a wrong perception that women who have dark knuckles must have bleached their skin for so many years, and perhaps didn’t pay much attention to their knuckles.
While this may be very true for some women, it isn’t completely true for others.
Here is how to erase dark knuckles in women.
1. See Your Doctor. If your knuckles are very dark as a result of an underlying medical condition or history, you should hurriedly see a medical doctor or dermatologist.
They’ll be able to make a simple diagnosis and prescribe a treatment that will correct the problem and even take away the knuckle.
2. Apply Sunscreen; While this will not necessarily lighten your knuckles, it will help to prevent further discoloration.
Sunscreens usually shield your skin from over-exposure to sunlight or heat.
3. Application of Baking Soda and Lemon Juice:
Another simple tip on how to get rid of dark knuckles is to combine baking soda and lemon juice. Both of them have bleaching properties. To use this method, make a mixture with baking soda and lemon juice. Afterwards, gently apply the mixture on your knuckles and let it remain there for at least 30 minutes. Then wash off and moisturise your skin immediately.
Do this continuously for two or three months and you'll definitely get your desired results.
