In a recent post on his official Facebook page, Prophet Joshua Iginla, founder and senior pastor of the Champions Royal Assembly, sent a powerful message to Believers on why your surroundings should not shape who you are.
His claims are as follows: "Once upon a time, I occupied a studio. It has been said that all the prophets are living lavish lifestyles. If you could see things from my perspective, you wouldn't speak the things you're saying." He then displayed a photo of the Ibadan hotel room where he had been for seven years without access to a bathroom. "God's anointing was on me, and the place I was staying didn't dampen it. It was with this grace that I moved on, and I didn't let my past define my future."
In continuation, he remarked "Private jet travel is not subsidized by the church anymore; these days, I do a lot of business. A private plane is not cheap, so if you think this is a promise of financial compensation, you're mistaken. You can't suddenly magically become into Joshua Iginla. Praying is a must."
He elaborated, saying that part of your bad behavior stems from your desire to become fathers quickly. The price is too high to pray away. I sported a suit without first securing a pair of decent shoes. Without shoes, I made it through elementary school. My dad was a staff sergeant in the Nigerian Army and retired on a low salary, but that never stopped me from carrying a heavy load. God's blessing on my life continued despite this.
