The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), according to Channels Television and Leadership News, has so far released the election results of 24 states, and out of these states, all three major candidates have performed above and beyond the expectations of Nigerians as a whole. This information is helpful as we get to know the presidential candidate who won the recently concluded presidential election, which was held on Saturday.
Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Peter Obi of the Labour Party are the front-runners that Nigerians expect to win the election (LP).
The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate appears to be in the lead with 6,708,209 votes, although he has only won in seven states as of the time this report was filled out. With 5,359,613 votes and 10 states so far won, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is in second place, with Peter Obi trailing behind with 3,158,952 votes in 6 states.
