Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party's presidential candidate, has said that despite Nyesom Wike's assistance in attaining the presidency, Bola Tinubu, the president-elect, will not cooperate with him. On Wednesday in Abuja, speaking through his Special Assistant on Public Communications, Phrank Shaibu, Atiku said it was unfortunate that the Rivers State Governor had been successful in tricking four of his G-5 colleagues into committing political suicide.
He claimed that Wike tricked the governors of Abia, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, and Benue into supporting him in his deeds.
Wike, according to Shaibu, had become nothing more than a bull in a china shop outside of Rivers State since betrayal and lying were in his character.
In a statement, the Rivers State Government advised Atiku to "caution his attack dogs," and this aide's statement was in response to that.
He emphasized that despite his support, Tinubu will not work with Wike because the governor of Rivers is a serpent.
"Governor Wike's assertion that he opposed Atiku out of concern for justice is like a prostitute saying that she is in business to help the hungry," he remarked. Even those he pays to attend his sponsored events where he amuses them with terrible dance moves no longer accept his falsehoods.
Peter Obi was lured to Port Harcourt by Wike on the pretense of commissioning projects, but instead of working with the same Obi, Wike instead worked against Obi.
