In a recent live video posted on his Facebook page, Daddy Freeze said Lagos cannot be Lagos without Igbos. He pointed out that Gbadebo is eligible to contest in the Lagos governor election.
He said, I want to assure Igbo people, Lagos needs love, charity and appreciation. One of the reasons there is a problem is that Igbo people feel they are not part of the system. They need to realise that Lagos cannot be Lagos without their input. Igbos you are needed and you are important in Lagos.
Again, If you are Igbo, do not feel unwanted, not feel uncared and not feel unappreciated. I don't want any form of tribalism, I will never encourage it. Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour is more qualified or more than qualified to run for governor.
Lastly, Gbadebo has the right to run as a Lagos State Governorship candidate. The fact that his mother is Igbo does not disqualify him. Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour is as qualified as Jadon and Sanwo-Olu to run for Lagos State governorship candidate. Let's not let him feel fewer Lagosians. Only Lagos people beer Vivour, Lucas and Dorati names. He is the son of the soil. If you don't like him as a candidate because you feel Jandor or Sanwo-Olu is more qualified, that is a personal choice. You cannot say Gbadebo is not qualified for governor.
