With the recent attacks and insecurity in the country caused by arm bandits and the terrorist group, Boko Haram one has to worry over the future of this United country, Nigeria.
A governor, Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has expressed his concerns on the current state of insecurity in the nation like every foot governor truly care for his state and the country at large.
The Rivers State Governor expressed his concerns during an interactive session with some traditional rulers, political leaders, and other stakeholders at the government house in Port Harcourt on the 27th of April, Tuesday.
He said blatantly that some governors are running to Abuja to take photos with the president (Muhammadu Buhari) instead of battling the problems of insecurity faced with their state. He made mention of some states like Nasarawa, Benue, and Niger states facing serious insecurity challenges.
The governor all accused the ruling party, the All Progressive Congress(APC) of lying about the current state of hunger and unemployment in the country.
