Most recently, the world has been thrown into a major turmoil with the current wave of covid-19 and it's variants. Viruses and bacteria have the potential of wiping out humanity if left without proper research, vaccine and medication. The world today needs to be educated concerning the various bacterial infections that are almost as dangerous as viruses. Mind you, not all bacterial infections can be treated with antibiotics, some others require more sophisticated methods to treat.


Klebsiella

This type of microbial infections usually have their holes in the human nose, mouth and gastrointestinal tract. This particular bacterial infection could potentially lead to a whole lot of medical conditions like pneumonia, urinary tract infections, meningitis, diarrhoea and soft tissue infections.


Staphylococcus

The word staphylococcus was gotten from the Greek word which means granule. Staphylococcus is one of the most dangerous bacteria there are on the planet. While some staphylococcus bacteria may be harmless, there are some other ones which are extremely dangerous.

One of the dangerous members of the staphylococcus family is the methicillin-resistant. This particular bacteria is responsible for diseases and infections which are severely difficult to treat.

Methicillin-resistant is very popular in the hospitals, prisons, nursing homes and other places where people nurse open wounds.

People who contract this methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus have a 64% chance of dying compared to people who do not have the resistant form.


Streptococcus

This particular bacteria belongs to the genus of coccus. This particular kind of bacteria are spherical in shape.

Pink eyes, meningitis, bacterial pneumonia and necrotizing fasciitis are just a few out of the many infections caused by this particular bacteria.


Tuberculosis

Everyone must have heard about this deadly bacteria known as tuberculosis. Tuberculosis has been classified by the World Health Organisation as one of the top 10 major causes of death worldwide.

Mycobacterium tuberculosis is a bacteria that affects the lungs. This is a major reason people with tuberculosis tend to cough violently.
