The alleged statement of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, that says that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will fix Nigeria with God’s help has gone viral on social media, particularly on Twitter. Reuben Adeleye Abati, a Nigerian journalist, politician, television anchor, and newspaper columnist, has been slammed by former minister of education, Obiageli Katryn Ezekwesili, who was shocked that the journalist posted about the saga on his official Twitter handle.
The statement released by Ezekwesili read, " "How so unprofessional, Rueben?" You are helping to spread fake news? Well, I am not entirely surprised". "You know, Pastor Adeboye never said this". "If you did not know, you could have at least fact-checked, not so? Do yourself good and take this utter rubbish down".
