Recall that Monsuru Abdulsalam Opeyemi was in action for the Nigeria U17 were his outstanding performance made him stand out and a major target of top before teaming up and signed the dotted lines for Portuguese based side,Futebol Clube de Vizela.
The 19 year old defender is seen as possessing the needed experience to strengthen the midfield of the Coach Salisu Yusuf squad, for the hurculeen task ahead, in the coming weeks.
In the current Portuguese Liga Revelação U-23 Season, youthful and workaholic Monsuru Abdulsalam Opeyemi, has been an integral squad member of the team with goals and assists to his name; hence he is seen as the player whose experience will be the tonic required for Nigeria to qualify for the 2024 Olympics in Paris, and possibly lift the Under-20 African Cup of Nations, come March, 2023.
