Recently, report has it that, the Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has begun its smart city initiative with the unified fibre duct infrastructure and connectivity project, across all the Local Government Areas and local community development Areas in the state.
The governor has updated Lagosians on latest development through his verified Twitter handle, after embarking on the task ahead of identifying all the traffic prone areas in Lagos, as his team were able to identify roundabouts in some densely populated locations this afternoon, according to report gathered via his official social media pages.
Noting that, his administration will immediately set in motion processes for removing these roundabouts, including the one at the Allen roundabout of the state. While Allen Avenue roundabout now wears a new look, according to pictures of the roads uploaded by the governor official social media handles.
Although, some Twitter users has begin to testify to the report of the governor, where one of the user who don't want his name to be print said, he is a living witness of this laudable projects, adding that, he ply those roads to work Monday to Friday and the removal of the roundabout is a very big relief, however, noted that, the Governor need to show more performance.
