The Nigerian Military confirmed the arrest of Chinwetalu Agu in a statement by Gen. Onyema Nwachukwu, Director of Army Public Relations.
According to the Statement, Chiwetalu Agu was arrested while inciting members of the public and soliciting support for the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
But a fresh video surfacing online has countered the reports of Gen. Onyema Nwachukwu, Director of Army Public Relations with Chiwetalu Agu denying that he wasn't soliciting support for the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Nevertheless, there is a vital thing Chiwetalu Agu said when he was questioned by Soldiers that should be considered:
Chiwetalu Agu Said That He Was Sharing Bread To People Who We're Hungry
In the video above, Chiwetalu Agu said that he was only sharing bread to people who were hungry and that he wasn't campaigning for Biafra.
I think the Nigerian Soldiers should re-investigate if Chiwetalu Agu was actually sharing bread to people who were hungry. If he was actually sharing bread to people who were hungry and wasn't soliciting support for the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), he should be forgiven.
But if the law demands that he should be punished for wearing the Biafra colors, he must accept the punishment.
