The presidential candidate of the Labour Party and the former governor of Anambra state, Mr Peter Obi has Celebrated with the former president Olusegun Obasanjo on his 86th birthday.

Peter Obi on his tweet described Obasanjo as a very respected father figure and elder statesman noting that he is honoured to celebrate him.
According to him, "My dear Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, a very respected father-figure and elder statesman, I am honoured to celebrate you on this special day of yours. Over the years you have remained a true patriot, great leader, father and mentor of many in our nation, Nigeria.

Before the February 25 general election, former Olusegun Obasanjo endorsed the Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi as his preferred candidate among others. He showed his supports to Mr Obi and also wrote a letter to president Muhammadu Buhari calling for cancellation of the results of the just concluded elections as Nigerians were disappointed.
