Everyone knows that Nigerian politics is like a game and only the smart ones will win. As a politician, you may at some point need to change your team (political party) in order to achieve your goals.
Edo state is facing a major shift in their political system as over 500 members of the APC (All Progressive Congress), have defected to their major opposition party, PDP (People's Democratic Party).
Reports have it that many indigenes of Okha L.G.A in Edo State ignored the rain and marched out in a unity rally. Over 500 members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) including the SA, Chairman and Councilor in Ward 08 officially announced their defection to the PDP.
This singular action has increased the chances of PDP having victory in the fast approaching elections.
Governor Godwin Obaseki is currently faced with a tough rival, Pastor. Osagie Ize-Iyamu and the wisdom to "crosscarpet" has brought these two men to where they are now.
Governor Obaseki who is now in the PDP was formerly in APC, while Ize-Iyamu who was formerly in PDP is now the Governorship Candidate for APC.
These two men have shown resilience and determination, therefore may the best man win!.
