Dangote Refinery: Buhari charges incoming govt on economic improvement

President BuhariAccording to Punch News, The outgoing administration has been urged by President Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retired) to build on the Dangote refinery's success.

During the opening of the Dangote refinery in the Ibeju-Lekki neighborhood of Lagos State, Buhari made the remark.

He declared, "I have faith that my successor, His Excellency, Bola Tinubu, will maintain the progress in our economy and business climate and stress the framework of our government collaboration to accelerate the growth of our economic development.

In order to leave our economy in capable hands, I would like to thank the Chairman, the Board of Directors, and the management of the Dangote Group for their significant contribution to the industrialization of our country's economy as well as that of our continent.

The state's governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, welcomed Buhari, who was joined by other dignitaries, including Aliko Dangote, president and CEO of the Dangote Group.

Presidents of five African countries are anticipated to attend the inauguration on Monday, including Gnassingbé Eyadéma of Togo, Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana, Macky Sall of Senegal, Mohamed Bazoum of the Niger Republic, Mahamat Déby of Chad, and President Paul Kagame of Rwanda.
