The Nigeria Center for Disease Control has reported another new cases of Covid-19 in Nigeria on 7th of February, 2021. According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), 506 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded in 19 states and FCT.

The agency recorded 20 deaths across the federation on 7th day of February, while a total of 1667 persons have lost their lives to the novel Coronavirus pandemic in the Nigerian society.

NCDC recorded (90) fresh cases of Covid-19 in Ondo state on 7th of February while (89) and (53) fresh cases were recorded in Kwara state and Rivers state. The agency further reported (45) and (32) new cases in the country while (28), (26) and (25) new cases were recorded in the Federal Capital Territory, Imo state and Ogun state. 

It is important to state that Lagos state recorded another low cases of Covid-19 on the 7th of February. NCDC reported only (22) new cases in Lagos state while both Kaduna state and Kano state recorded (14) fresh cases.

Additionally, (13) and (11) new cases of Coronavirus were recorded in Edo state and Osun state while (10) and (9) new cases were recorded in Cross Rivers state and Yobe state. Also, Ekiti and Kebbi states recorded (7) and (6) new cases while (6) and (5) fresh cases were recorded in Nasarawa state and Oyo state. 

In addition, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control has recorded 139, 748 cases of Coronavirus in the country while 113, 525 persons have been discharged after tested negative for Covid-19.
