Only one fixture was played in the Spanish La Liga today as Barcelona welcomed Granada to the Camp Nou Stadium on Monday evening. The Catalan Giants were looking to continue with their winning mentality in the competition by securing an important victory against Granada in today's match.
Granada took the lead almost at the start of the match as Domingos Duarte opened the scoring with a close-range header to put his side 1-0 ahead in the 2nd minute. Barcelona pressurised Granada in the remaining minutes of the first half but couldn't just get the equaliser as Granada protected their slim 1-0 advantage till half-time
Barcelona increased the pressure in the second half of the match as they registered several attempts on goal to get the all-important equaliser. Ronald Araujo rescued Barcelona from a defeat in today's match as he scored a late header to make the scoreline 1-1 at full-time.

Barcelona moved to the 7th position on the league table with 8 points and an outstanding game while Real Madrid tops the log with 13 points.
