In a recent report that was shared on Channels Television on Instagram, the Nigerien government has recently Honoured some reputable Nigerians for the vital roles they played in the promotion of the relationship between Nigeria and Niger.
The honours were said to have been given to the Nigerian nationals on the 3rd of August 2022, the same day the country marked its Independence Day, according to the reports from Channels Television.
The honoured Nigerians included Aliko Dangote, Governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa state, Governor Mohammed Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State, the Senior Special Assistant (Household and Domestic Affairs) to the President, Sarki Abba; the State Chief of Protocol, Ambassador Lawal Kazaure and the President of BUA Group, Abdulsamad Rabiu. They were said to have been conferred with the Order of Merit of Niger, Great Master of National Awards.
