The Chairman of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Adamu, has lost his polling unit to the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi.

DailyPost reported that the former governor of Anambra State polled 132 votes to defeat Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress (APC) who scored 85 votes. Obi won in Senator Adamu's Angwarimi Ward, GRA A1, LERCEST Office in Keffi, Nasarawa State.
The LP, however, came third in the Senatorial election. The Social Democratic Party (SDP) scored 184 votes to defeat the APC which scored 55 votes; the LP which polled 42 votes; the PDP with 22 votes; and the NNPP with 4 votes.

The SDP was also able to defeat the ruling party in the House of Representatives election in the unit. SPD scored 159 votes to defeat the APC with 46 votes, the PDP with 41 votes and the LP with 30 votes.
