Super Eagles of Nigeria duo Tyronne Ebuehi and David Okereke were on action for Italian serie A club-side Venezia football club on Monday night, and the duo were able to rescue a crucial point for the club against Torino football club.
Coach Paolo Zanetti gave the Nigerian internationals another playing time, following their impressive performances for the club in the previous matches, and they were able to impress again.
David Okereke started in the home team's attack alongside Moroccan star Sofian Kiyine and Dennis Johnsen, while Tyronne Ebuehi was introduced in the early minutes of the second half.
Both teams efforts to break the deadlock in the first half of the game were not successful, as the first half ended goalless.
The visitors opened scoring through Josip Brekalo in the 56th minutes and substitute Mattia Aramu equalized for the home team in the 78th minutes after Nigerian David Okereke was brought down inside the box 18.
David Okereke was superb for the home team throughout the whole duration of the game, and Tyronne Ebuehi was able to bring the balance to the team after being introduced to the pitch.
The draw against Torino football club has now taken Venezia FC to the 18th spot of the Italian serie A table with 4 points from 6 matches played.
