According to a news release, a gunman opened fire at a mall which leads to the death of three people and left others injured.

A US state of Indiana official when interviewed by the press said the tragic event happened on Sunday.
Mayor Mark Myers said in a statement in Greenwood, Indiana, “we witnessed a mass shooting tonight in Greenwood Park Mall." He said, “Three people are now deceased and three are injured." Mark Myers claimed that a good Samaritan (armed) shot the suspected gunman.
Chief Jim Ison of the Greenwood Police Department recognized the helpful stranger as a 22-year-old resident of a nearby County.
However, Witnesses of the shooting are asked to contact the Greenwood Police according to a posted message on their Facebook page.
This is just another count of numerous incidents of shootings that is experienced in America in recent years. According to the Gun Violence Archive, there are about 40,000 gun-related fatalities each year in the country.
