Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), declared on Sunday that only God can take his life because He is the only one who also provides life.
Tinubu took time to identify and thank all of the political leaders and groups represented at the welcome back ceremony, saying he was extremely delighted to be back home, speaking at a welcome celebration organized by the Lagos State government for him.
He also praised God for saving his life and guiding him through the surgical procedure.
Despite his medical travel, Tinubu said he couldn't praise God more than those who were present at the event and all those who prayed for his safe return home.
Having revealed that it was a happy day for him, he prayed for the welcome back ceremony organizers, asking God to grant them their hearts' desires.
Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, the Deputy Governor, and Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, said earlier that they are ready to work harder and are already doing so to ensure his mandate in 2023.
