If Ayu Must Go, Then Gov. Wike Should Remember Our Agreement & What He Said In Abuja -Dele Momodu

Dele Momodu, former PDP presidential aspirant and journalist, has reacted to the position of Wike's camp on Atiku Abubakar's presidential ambition ahead of 2023 presidential election.

You will recall that Gov. Wike's camp recently pulled out of Atiku Abubakar's campaign team as they demanded that Ayu Iyorchia, PDP National Chairman, must resign ahead of the 2023 presidential election. Dele Momodu who was hosted in an online interview with Arise News few hours ago, reminded Gov. Wike of their "agreement" and what he said in Abuja during PDP primaries.

"There is no way you will remove Ayu and it will not affect the other NWC members. Before we all agreed to contest, we knew, agreed and understood that the number one ticket will be open to every zone. The permutation & agreement this time was who can win for the party irrespective of the zone.

"When APC picked a Muslim-Muslim ticket, they were looking for people who can win. So why will PDP's own be different? This was a vow that we all made to support whoever that wins that presidential ticket in Abuja. Wike should remember this. No one predicted this very outcome", Dele Momodu said.

However, Dele Momodu further described Gov. Wike as one of the best PDP Governors that has made himself available for the party. Hence, Wike and Atiku should dialogue to settle things before it's too late.
