UEL: Two Nigerian Born Players Train With Arsenal First Team Ahead Of Their Clash Against Villarreal

Nigerian Born Eligible Players Folarin Balogun and Arthur Okonkwo where pictured in Arsenal's Final training session ahead of their UEFA Europa League Clash With Villarreal.

The duo where focused and calm as Mikel Arteta lead the training session. Okonkwo was absent from Monday and Tuesday training session due to a small muscle Injury.

The 19-years-old goalkeeper is yet to make his senior debut for the Gunners but could be on the bench tonight.

Balogun, signed a new long term contract with the club on Tuesday which was his second professional contract with his boyhood club.

Balogun made his senior debut in the Europa League on 29 October 2020, coming on as a substitute in the 74th minute in a group stage match against Dundalk.

First choice strikers Alexander Lacazette and Pierre Emeric Aubameyang where also pictured in the training session. Lacazette was absent in the Gunners defeat against Everton following the Minor hamstring Injury he picked up against Fulham.

The Frenchman is expected lead the line Against the yellow submarines which could see Balogun settle for a place on the bench.

Arsenal will be up against their former manager Unai Emery and Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze will be once again be hoping to make the Headlines.
