The Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria, Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka has condemned in clear terms the senseless killing of Labour Party senatorial candidate for Enugu East, Barrister Oyibo Chukwu.
While speaking to his congregation at the Adoration ground, yesterday, he condemned politicians who feel that this election is a 'do or die affair'. He said that such politicians are satanic and advised his Church members not to vote such candidates.
He said that it is sad that in this time that we heard that someone sponsored assassins to shoot a politician and his aides and set him ablaze while in his car. He said that the gruesome murder of Oyibo Chukwu and his entourage was politically motivated because he was the leading candidate to win the senate. He said that the same night Oyibo Chukwu was murdered, the APC Governorship candidate was also attacked but escaped because he was in a bulletproof car.
Father Mbaka said that the act of satanism in Enugu will not hold. He said that those that sponsored the killing and those that carried it out will not go unpunished. He advised those behind such killing to go to Sambisa forest and help in the fight against terrorism.
