Suspect Narrates How He Stole Musical Instruments From Over 16 Churches

The Nigeria Police Force has arrested a man who disguises as an Army Captain and also specializes in the stealing of musical instruments that belongs to Churches. After he was arrested, the Nigeria Police Force has paraded him before Men of the press and the suspect whose name was identified as Monday Akawu has revealed how he always carries out his mission.

According to Channels Tv, The Suspect, Monday Akawu reveals that he has stolen from a lot of churches, most especially the Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG) and the Mountain of Fire Miracle Ministries (MFM). The suspect also made mentioned that he has stolen from a total of 16 Churches around the axis of Abuja and inside the Abuja metropolis.

The Suspect, Monday Akawu also reveals how he was able to cart away some of the things he stole and that was when he made mention of disguising as a Military Personnel to avoid being questioned or checked by Security. He also made mention that he sells the stolen musical instruments between the range of N60,000 to N90,000.

Frank Mba, the Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force was present as at the time of the parade and he has urged and advised Churches to get physical protection as they are getting spiritual protection. He also advised Churches to install lights and security cameras around the Church premises to avoid this kind of resurgence.
