Governments Begs Doctors to Disembarked on Their Strike.
The Federal Government has appealed to resident doctors to consider the plight of 80 percent of the citizenry in need of health care and not proceed on strike.
Recall earlier that Nigerian doctors had planned on embarking a strike o'er unpaid allowances.
Recently, at a conciliatory meeting with the leadership of National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD), Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige said the majority of the welfare issues under contention were almost resolved even before the letter if complaint and notification of a planned strike was delivered at the ministry.
Ngige who had embarked on a closed meeting session said the government has started discussions on hazard health allowance for health workers in the country.
He concluded that the complaints ivthe doctors have been adequately communicated and proposals drawn to address the situation before it degenerates into a strike.
Governor Wike Reveals Why He Sacked Environment Commissioner.
Nyesom Wike, Rivers State Governor has reacted revealed reason why he sacked the Commissioner for Environment, Dr. Iybiks Tamuno. Recall earlier the State Commissioner for Environment was reportedly sacked.
In a statement issued by Wike's media aide, Kelvin Ebiri, he said he directed the sacked commissioner to submit all government documents and properties in his possession to the permanent secretary if the Ministry of Environment.
Further explaining, Wike said Tamuno wrote a letter to the construction company, Julius Berger to stop work in the state without his approval and never notified the Ministry of Works before writing the letter.

Recall, the CCT Chairman, Umar Danladi was caught in a viral video assaulting a security guard at a Plaza in Abuja after which he alleged he was attacked by some 'Biafra Boys'.
Alhassan explained why his statement was full of grammatical errors. According to him, he said he did not edit the statement which he typed with his phone before releasing it.
He added that the statement was written under pressure as he was forced by the CCT Chairman, Umar to allege the assault on 'Biafra Boys'.
