By Lighthousemedia (self media writer) | 17 days ago
Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Bode George, has revealed that he sees himself as a patriotic Nigerian who served in the military until he got to the position of a General, however, his disappointment in the conduct of the 2023 presidential election made him say that he is ashamed to be called a Nigerian.
According to Chief Bode George, it is surprising that the INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, could come out to say that an hitch in the BVAS machine and the INEC server caused the issues witnessed on the election day.
Speaking further, Bode George said that he has over 50 year experience as an electronic engineer and as such, he dies not believe that some hitch can affect the electronic transmission of results in a digital era.
Bode George went on to say that he believes that it is laughable and shambolic to note that the INEC Chairman blamed an hitch for the issues witnessed during the presidential and national assembly elections. Bode George went on to say that Mahmood Yakubu would have been fired if he was in the private sector.
