Winning A Presidential Election Is Not A Function Of Number States Under A Party's Control- Abdulmumin Jibrin

A former member of the Nigerian house of representatives, Abdulmumin Jibrin has said that winning a presidential election is never a function of number of states controlled by a particular political party by the governors elected on the platform of that party.

Taking to his official Twitter handle, the former lawmaker stated that if number of states controlled by a political party is crucial or is a major factor in winning the presidential election, the people's democratic party would have won the 2015 presidential election easily.

Abdulmumin Jibrin further stressed that a presidential election is a different ball game and incumbency is not its determinant. Just as soon as he made his submission, twitter users and his followers did not hesitate to take to his post to engage and to express their opinions.

Many people who have reacted to his submission so far quite agreed with him and hailed him for the amazing observation.

You will recall that the 2023 presidential election is fast approaching and political parties and candidates are carrying on with their plannings and strategies.
