Spokesperson of the Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign council, Femi Fani-Kayode has taken to social media to criticize the Emeritus Archbishop of the Catholic Diocese of Abuja, Cardinal John Onaiyekan, following his statement that President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu inauguration ceremony should not be held because of the petitions that have been filed against him at the election tribunal. He made such criticism on Instagram.
Recall that Cardinal John Onaiyekan had in a chat with Channels TV few hours ago, stated that it does not make sense to swear in President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other candidates whose victories are still being challenged in court.
According to the clergyman, Nigerians have to review the election process to ensure that they have a winner who will be sworn in and everybody would rally around, adding that it is a pity that the court is taking too long to make up their minds on the cases that are before them.
And so following such statement by the Archbishop, former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode took to his official Instagram page to react, as he stated that the Nigerian people have spoken and the deep state conspiracy to stop Bola Ahmed Tinubu from becoming the president has failed a long time ago.
Femi Fani-Kayode went ahead to state Cardinal John Onaiyekan cannot stop a moving train, adding that those that have hardened their hearts and that have refused to accept God's will to let Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Nigeria people go "shall, like Pharaoh, perish before their eyes".
The APC chieftain finally noted that those that are filled with hate, bitterness and rage and seek to pursue them into the Red Sea as they make their way into the promise land, shall be drowned by such sea.
