Chelsea has become one of the best clubs in Europe ever since Thomas Tuchel became the club's manager. Most players are happy to be in Chelsea because of their current form, however, Chelsea is working tirelessly to seal a new contract for Rudiger and Christensen. Christensen's current contract will run till 2022 but Chelsea is reportedly working on giving him a new contract. Christensen has done a great job at Chelsea and Chelsea is reportedly willing to give him a new contract which is expected to come with an improved salary.
Rudiger is also on Chelsea's plans. Rudiger's contract will expire at the end of the season and he is believed to be currently negotiating a new deal with Chelsea. Rudiger is a great asset in Chelsea, so it is not surprising that Chelsea is willing to give him a new deal.

After Rudiger's and Christensen's deals, Chelsea must shift their attention to securing the services of other players like Kante, Mount, and Jorginho. These players are essential in Chelsea and securing their signatures on a long-term deal won't be a bad idea.
It is believed that Chelsea had begun contract extension talks with Jorginho and Kante, however, both players are reportedly holding out as they look towards the future. In Kante's and Jorginho's contract talks, Chelsea is not in a hurry neither is Kante and Jorginho.

Another important player who would be on Chelsea's watch is Mason Mount. The Chelsea young star is one of the brightest players in England and although he has a contract till 2024, Chelsea will be doing themselves a lot of good if they start negotiating a contract extension with Mount as soon as possible.

It is important to note that Chelsea has a lot of other players that need new contracts but the players whose names were mentioned above are some of the players whose contract talks should come first. No matter what it takes, Chelsea would love to keep Rudiger at all costs. Christensen's contract should be the easiest to negotiate. Mount's contract extension won't be a top priority because he still has close to three more years.
