APC National Women Leader Betta Edu said during an interview with Channels Television that she could bet on anything that Nigerians would beg Bola Tinubu to run for reelection after serving his first four years. She said this in response to the question of whether Nigerians can trust Tinubu in office posed by Seun Okinbaloye, a correspondent for Channels TV.
According to her, the APC has been well received by Nigerians, and their sentiments were expressed clearly in the voting. She continued by saying that Tinubu would take office on May 29 and that nothing would prevent him from leading the nation. She also discussed the current administration, noting that Nigerians are content with their party. She asserted, "I wager on anything that Nigerians will beg Bola Tinubu to seek reelection in four years.
