The Premium Times has reported that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu stated during a recent interview that INEC have nothing to hide.
According to the Premium Times, Yakubu stated that the Commission will not hide any document from anybody and will make available any document that is requested for.
Moreover, he further stressed that the general public should be assured that the commission has nothing to hide.
Quoting the exact statement released by Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu, he said, "I want to assure you that the commission will not hide any document from anybody and will make available any document that they have requested for. Please be assured that INEC has nothing to hide, what ever you are asking for will be made available to you. There are two categories of documents that are in possession of the headquarters of INEC and they will all be made available."
